German WC star may end up at United

(06-08-2010) - Manchester United’s hopes of signing German World Cup star Mesut Ozil have been given a lift after Werder Bremen indicated that they will listen to all offers for the 21-year-old. Ozil’s contract with Werder expires in 12 months time, something a host of top clubs have taken notice of. "Should there be an offer on the table, we would consider it," said Werder general manager Klaus Allofs on Thursday. "Everything is still possible at the moment." Ozil enjoyed a blistering tournament in South Africa as Germany finished third. He has been strongly linked with a move to both United and Spanish giants Real Madrid.
