‘appy ‘arry confident of CL progression

(23-08-2010) Harry Redknapp is confident Tottenham will reach the group stages of the Champions League after his side secured a confidence boosting win over Stoke City on Saturday. Spurs head into their second-leg Champions League playoff match with Young Boys 3-2 down on aggregate. They also have a lengthy injury list that includes Luka Modric (groin), Giovani dos Santos (hamstring), Roman Pavlyuchenko (ankle) and Robbie Keane (knee). "The lads who came in did well. That will give us confidence for the next game. We have got a big chance as we have come back from the dead," said Redknapp. Spurs pulled two goals back from 3-0 down against Young Boys in last week’s first leg in Switzerland to give themselves a fighting chance of playing in the Champions League proper for the first time in their history.
