‘Chicarito will be a United legend’

(10-08-2010) Edwin Van der Sar believes Javier Hernandez can become a legend at Manchester United. This comes after the club’s new Mexican signing shone on debut in Sunday’s Community Shield win over Chelsea, capping a fine second-half performance by scoring a goal. "He has been looking good for the last 10 days since he joined us in the United States,” commented Van der Sar on Monday. "He is a very talented player and a big prospect." The Red Devils signed the 22-year-old Hernandez from Mexican side Chivas Guadalajara earlier in the summer. Hernandez is nicknamed ‘Chicarito’ meaning ‘Little Pea’ and had the name emblazoned across the back of his United shirt against Chelsea.
