Star trio set for City exit

(20-08-2010) Roberto Mancini is set to allow Shay Given, Roque Santa Cruz and Robinho to leave Manchester City. According to reports, the Italian is under-pressure to trim his bloated squad down to the 25 allowed under new EPL rule, and is thus prepared to let the trio leave Eastlands. Brazilian Robinho is attracting interest from Besiktas, Fenerbahce and Schalke, while Paraguay star Santa Cruz is being monitored by Fulham and West Ham. Irish stopper Given looks likely to join Arsenal. Given (£10m), Santa Cruz (£18m) and Robinho (£32.5m) cost the club a combined £60.5m. City will be lucky to recoup half that amount.
