Pique still believes Fab will join Barca

(20-08-2010) Spanish World Cup winner Gerard Pique remains convinced Cesc Fabregas will star alongside him at Barcelona in the future. Fabregas recently ended months of speculation linking him with a move back to the club he played for as a boy, by committing himself to Arsenal. Even so, Pique believes it is only a matter of time before the 23-year-old returns to his home town club. "Cesc will one day sign for Barca," said Pique on Thursday. Pique also said he was relishing the prospect of facing Jose Mourinho's Real Madrid this season. However, he does not believe Real will be able to reclaim the La Liga title from Pep Guardiola's side. "It will be fun. They are two coaches with different styles, even though Mourinho says he is an attacking coach,” he added. "But Guardiola has shown you don't need the character of Mourinho to become a great team."
