Scholes unmoved on international return
(30-08-2010) Paul Scholes relishes coaching his boyhood club Oldham over an international return for England. Such has been the 35-year-old midfielder’s form this season that there have been several calls for Fabio Capello to include Scholes in his England squad. Scholes retired from international football in 2004 after winning 66 England caps. "When I was playing for England, I wasn't playing as well as I could have been so I think it was the right decision to retire,” Scholes told website Football4Football on Sunday. "I still think retirement from club football is a few years off for me but I've started doing my coaching badges because I'm determined to stay in the game. I don't know about anything else."
