United hungrier than ever - Giggs
(10-08-2010) Manchester United’s failure to win major silverware last season has fuelled an even greater desire for success this season, claims club legend Ryan Giggs. Despite winning the Carling Cup last campaign, the Red Devils surrendered their EPL title to Chelsea and crashed out of the Champions League in the quarterfinals. "There is always that hunger, even if you are defending things," said the 36-year-old Welshman on Monday. "But there is probably that added bit of determination because you don't want to go through another summer like this one again where we did not win the league. Now the challenge is there for us again. We do have to improve but if the squad stays fit and we get a bit of luck, we always fancy ourselves."
