Special One not interested in EPL trio

(09-08-2010) - Jose Mourinho has ruled out moves for Ashley Cole, Ricardo Carvalho and Steven Gerrard. The Real Madrid boss has long admired the trio, having managed Cole and Carvalho at Chelsea, while trying desperately hard to buy Liverpool skipper Gerrard while he was in charge at Stamford Bridge. On Sunday he admitted that Gerrard and Carvalho were now both too old to sign, while Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti vetoed any move for Cole. Mourinho has snapped up Germany midfielder Sami Khedira, wingers Angel di Maria and Pedro Leon, and exciting youngster Sergio Canales from Racing Santander since taking over at the Bernabeu a few months ago.
