Will Hargreaves get spot in trimmed United squad?

(29-08-2010) Speculation is growing over weather Sir Alex Ferguson will include Owen Hargreaves in his trimmed down squad for the season. New EPL rules stipulate that all teams must limit the number of players in their squads to 25. Hargreaves, an £18m signing from Bayern Munich four years ago has hardly featured for United for the past two seasons following major surgery on both his knees. Many managers have criticised the imposed limits on their resources because it means they will not be able to make changes until the next transfer window opens in January. "I only have one issue really - whether I can afford to allot one of the 25 places to Owen Hargreaves as he continues to battle for full fitness," Fergie told United Review on Saturday.
