‘The Special One’ mocks Wenger

(25-08-2010) Jose Mourinho has reignited his long-running feud with Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger by labelling the Gunners “write-offs”. Speaking on Tuesday, the newly installed Real Madrid manger said Wenger consistently hid behind the mantra that his squad were young. "Year after year it looks like, but no, it looks like, but no. Always the same type of comment 'It's a young team', 'It will be next season, it will be next season',” commented ‘The Special One’, mockingly. "The 'team of young boys' is not the team of young boys now, they are a team of 25, 26, 27 year olds. So Fabregas, Walcott, Clichy, Song and Sagna are not kids, they are a team old enough to win things.” He added: "But will they do it? I think it will again be Manchester United, Chelsea and, of course, Man City, because they have a great squad."
