Nani’s gratitude to Chelsea
Manchester United star Nani has thanked archrivals Chelsea for helping him establish his EPL reputation last season. The Portuguese flyer struggled in his first two years in England but impressive performances against the Blues last campaign went a long way to proving his critics wrong. "Everyone is excited with me because they didn't know if I could be the player everyone expected,” revealed the 23-year-old on Saturday. "People doubted my quality when I arrived from Sporting Lisbon but perhaps my performances against Chelsea have been my answer to those people - my personal revenge, if you like.” He added: "Chelsea are exciting opposition for me. So to begin the season against them again with the chance of winning a trophy is terrific.” Nani has recovered from the collar bone injury that kept him out of the World Cup.
