Milan tell Spurs to show us the money

(30-08-2010) Tottenham have been told to cough-up some money if they are to land Dutch star Klaas-Jan Huntelaar from AC Milan. Until now Spurs had been hoping to bag the striker on a loan deal. According to reports, the club’s chairman Daniel Levy is now ready to sanction an £11m permanent move for the former Ajax Amsterdam player. If Huntelaar does join before the close of the transfer window on Tuesday, it will signal the end of Robbie Keane’s White Hart Lane career, with the Irishman being shipped back to Celtic for a second loan spell in Glasgow.
