Special One does about-turn on Blues veteran

(11-08-2010) Just days after claiming that Ricardo Carvalho was too old to sign, Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho has done a sensational about-turn and is on the verge of snapping up the Portuguese veteran from Chelsea. According to reports, the 32-year-old defender will move to the Bernabeu for £6.65m if he passes a medical. Carvalho has played under Mourinho at Porto (where they won the 2004 Champions League) and at Chelsea, where they won two EPL titles together.
