Gunners crock list lengthens
(19-08-2010) Flying winger Samir Nasri has become the latest Arsenal player to pick up a knock. The Frenchman has knee knack and is expected to be out of action for a month. "Arsenal midfielder Samir Nasri will today undergo minor surgery on his knee following a meniscal injury sustained during the match against Liverpool on Sunday,” said Arsenal in a statement on Wednesday. "Nasri, who has been in impressive form, will be out of action for a month." This means that one match into the EPL season, the Gunners are already without Alex Song (calf), Denilson (abdominal problem) and Wales international Aaron Ramsey (broken leg). To make matters worse, new signing Laurent Koscielny will serve a suspension after his sending-off for two late yellow cards against Liverpool last weekend.
