Gunners in shock move for Reds star

Arsenal are lining up a shock move for Liverpool goalkeeper Pep Reina. According to a report in Saturday’s edition of The Sun newspaper, the Gunners are set to wave a cool £25m under the noses of the Merseysiders in exchange for the Spanish stopper. Reina, signed for £6m from Villarreal five years ago, recently signed a new six-year deal at Liverpool. However, £25m for a goalkeeper is not to be sniffed at and is something the financially embattled Anfield club could well consider. Arsenal are expected to continue chasing Fulham ‘keeper Mark Schwarzer if their bid for Reina is unsuccessful.
