Becks career is over – Milan boss

New AC Milan boss Massimiliano Allegri believes David Beckham’s career is over. The 35-year-old England legend is currently battling to recover from a ruptured Achilles tendon suffered while playing for Milan in March. Allegri fears that the midfielder’s age counts against him making a comeback to top-flight football. "I don't think it's possible that he will come back,” said the Italian. "He is recovering from a bad injury and at that age it is difficult to come back.” Beckham however believes he will be back playing by November. And while that will mean he misses the entire MLS season, unless his current club Los Angeles Galaxy reach the play-offs, he is hoping for a move back to the EPL for a final swansong. In recent days he has been linked with West Ham.
