‘appy ‘arry eyeing City’s talent
Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp is keeping a close eye on developments at Manchester City. According to reports, City are set to offload a host of stars as they look to whittle their squad down to 25 players. This should see some stellar talent leave Eastlands, with Redknapp waiting in the wings to snap up a few stars for his Champions League bound team. "I just need a couple of fresh faces that would make the difference," Redknapp told The People newspaper on Sunday. "I think there will be a lot of loans about, because teams are going to loan people out just to get them off the wage bill. City look like they might have to do that with one or two because they've got a big squad so it will be interesting.” Redknapp is believed to be eyeing City midfielder Stephen Ireland, striker Craig Bellamy and defender Joleon Lescott.
