Ade told he can leave
Manchester City have told Emmanuel Adebayor that he can find another club. This comes just 12 months after the Togo international arrived at Eastlands from Arsenal for £25million. According to reports, City boss Roberto Mancini has told the 26-year-old that he is unlikely to play regularly in the new season and that he would be better off moving to Juventus or AC Milan, two clubs who are keen on signing him. City are also under pressure to reduce the size of their bloated 38-man squad to 25, as per the new EPL rule. However, one stumbling block regarding a move to Italy could be Adebayor’s wage demands. He is currently on £130,000-a-week at City, an amount Serie A clubs are unlikely to pay. Adebayor scored 14 goals for City last season.
