Dutch coach blasts ‘shameful’ Brazilians

Dutch manager Bert Van Marwijk has blasted Brazil for their behaviour during their defeat to Netherlands on Friday. Brazil ended the game with 10 men after midfielder Felipe Melo was red-carded for fouling Arjen Robben. The Brazilians accused the Dutch wizard of provoking Melo into a stamp. "Brazil should be ashamed. It was the other way round. Brazil tried to provoke us more than we provoked them,” fumed Van Marwijk afterwards. "I just saw the TV footage of the foul on Robben. I think you should be ashamed for Brazilian football." Inter Milan striker Wesley Sneijder headed Holland's 68th-minute winner as they came from a goal down at half-time to reach the semi-finals.
