Fab bid may fail, admit Barca
Barcelona have admitted that they may fail to lure Cecs Fabregas from Arsenal this summer. According to Barca president Sandro Rosell, they have not yet entered negotiations for the 24-year-old who played for the Catalans in his early teenage years before moving to Arsenal at 16. "Arsenal feels very hurt by Barca," Rosell told local TV station, Catalan TV3. "They don't want to listen to offers or sell and they are not putting the player on the market. There was a strong dispute a few months ago and they have not forgotten it." Barca have already had a £35m offer for the Gunners skipper turned down, with relations turning increasingly sour between the clubs. “Fabregas will arrive, even if it is not now, it will be next year. One thing that is certain is that we will not go mad trying to sign him,” added Rosell.
