Torres and I would be deadly – Tevez

Carlos Tevez believes he and Fernando Torres can combine to form the deadliest strike force in the EPL. This comes after Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini admitted at the weekend that he wants to sign Liverpool striker Torres. "Torres would definitely make us better. He's one of the top strikers in the world and I would love to have him as a team-mate,” said Tevez on Tuesday. "Last year we ended up contesting for Champions League places. I have no doubt that this year if we land Torres we will achieve that aim and fight for the title. The club will pick up reinforcements and this will make us stronger.” City however face a tough challenge to land the World Cup winning striker, with Liverpool doing all they can to convince him to stay at Anfield, while Chelsea are waiting in the wings with a £50m offer.
