Giggs positive despite United loss

Ryan Giggs believes Manchester United’s young players will learn from their first loss of their pre-season US tour. The Red Devils slumped to a 2-1 defeat to Kansas City Wizards in front of 52,424 fans at the Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday. However, only Giggs, Paul Scholes, Dimitar Berbatov and Nani were first-team regulars on show. "You learn something from every game you play when you are younger and you always try to take something from it even when you lose,” said Giggs afterwards. "Hopefully the young lads will be better for the experience.” He added: "The big thing about pre-season is getting your fitness right but of course you want to play well and win your games. It might be a friendly but it's always disappointing when you lose.”
