Zlatan ready for Barca fight

Zlatan Ibrahimovic insists he has no plans to leave Barcelona, despite increasing speculation that the striker could be moving on this summer. The Swedish international failed to convince in his first season with the Catalans following his high profile move from Inter Milan last summer. By the end of the season he was warming the bench. And with Barca’s recent £34m signing of David Villa, Ibrahimovic’s chances could be limited in the new season. "During the summer, many clubs have been mentioned, but we haven't spoken to any of them," said Ibrahimovic on Thursday."They are rumours and I take it positively because they value my work. I have never had doubts about wanting to stay." He also said he was relishing the challenge of competing with Villa. "He's a great signing. I'm happy he's here because he is one of the best in the world," he added.
