EPL legend heads west

EPL legend Thierry Henry will see out his playing days in America. The former Arsenal striker on Wednesday signed a 4½-year deal with Major League Soccer side New York Red Bulls. "This marks an exciting new chapter in my career and life,” said the 32-year-old, who has played for Barcelona since leaving the Gunners. "It is an honour to play for the New York Red Bulls. I am fully aware of the team's history and my sole goal during my time here is to help win the club its first championship.” Added the Frenchman: "Knowing Red Bull's significant commitment to soccer locally and internationally, I am confident that my team-mates and I will succeed." Henry is Arsenal's record goalscorer and is likely to partner former Aston Villa striker Juan Pablo Angel up front in New York.
