Roo still in the making - Fergie

Wayne Rooney is still learning the finer arts of football, claims Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson. Fergie’s comments come after the 24-year-old failed to shine at the recent World Cup despite a stellar season for United. "The boy has got an incredible armoury of talent and what we have to do is to wait for that maturity,” Ferguson told ESPN on Tuesday. "We also do nurture it and try to advise and coach in a fashion which will improve his game. But the most important thing I think he needs now is maturity and, when he gets that, I think you will see the complete footballer." Rooney scored 34 goals for the Red Devils last season.
