Forlan’s comments alert EPL giants

World Cup sensation Diego Forlan has hinted that he wants to move from Atletico Madrid. The Uruguayan, who once flopped at Manchester United, has lit up the global showpiece in South Africa by almost single-handedly steering the unfashionable South Americans into the semi-finals. Now he has hinted at a big-money move, maybe even back to the EPL. "I am very happy in Madrid and the way the city and the team are always with me, but you never know. If it is a good offer we have to see if the team wants me to leave or not and then we have to sit and talk,” Forlan told Sky Sports News on Friday. His comments will have pricked the ears of Tottenham who have long been interested in the marksman. Meanwhile, Forlan can still land the World Cup Golden Boot award in Saturday’s third-fourth place play-off against Germany.
