City to sell trouble-maker and other red-hot gossip

Manchester City are set to offload trouble-maker supreme Craig Bellamy, with Tottenham his likely destination. If the move happens, Spurs will sell Robbie Keane to Aston Villa to help fund it. Bellamy is likely to fetch £5m, while the 30-year-old Keane should go for a similar amount. Elsewhere, Chelsea have told Real Madrid they will have to pay £30m to sign defender Ashley Cole; Zenit St Petersburg hope to sign Porto defender Bruno Alves amid fears Manchester United could make a move if Nemanja Vidic should leave Old Trafford; Everton have been told to forget about bringing LA Galaxy star Landon Donovan back to Goodison Park on a full-time basis; and Manchester City have yet to secure the signing of Lazio's Serbian international defender Alexander Kolarov.
