Spain already focused on WC final

Spain coach Vincente del Bosque has his sights firmly set on glory after watching his charges roar into the World Cup final with a 1-0 win over Germany in Durban on Wednesday. A 73rd minute headed goal from defender Carles Puyol sent the pre-tournament favourites into the championship match on Sunday where they will take on Holland. "Our players carried out their job in a magnificent way,” commented del Bosque after the match at the Moses Mabidha Stadium. "But let's think about the game in front of us. We're in good shape physically and we are happy to be in the final, that was our objective, but now we want to be champions." The score-line flattered Germany who played second fiddle to the precise passing of the Spaniards all night. In the end Spain had 13 attempts on goal to just five by the Germans.
