Starlet reveals Giggs admiration

(16-11-2010) Sunderland star Jordan Henderson admires Ryan Giggs for his clean-living image. The midfielder has won over the plaudits this season and is believed to be on the radar of Manchester United. Fresh from his team’s sensational 3-0 win over Chelsea on Sunday, the 20-year-old admitted that Manchester United legend Giggs is his inspiration. "When I was really young, I met Ryan Giggs while on holiday with my mum and dad. Mum has a picture with me on his shoulders,” revealed Henderson on Monday. "While I supported Sunderland, Giggs was my favourite player and I have followed his career. You see a lot of people in the papers for the wrong reasons but with Ryan Giggs you don't see him in the paper.” He added: “I don't really go out. For me, a fun night out is like on Sunday against Chelsea! Watching the highlights!”
