Gunners striker threatens to quit

(13-11-2010) Nicklas Bendtner has threatened to quit Arsenal unless he is given more game time. The Danish striker has only started two matches this campaign after battling injury. "If the situation doesn't change and I'm still on the bench at Arsenal, I'll look for a transfer,” he said on Friday. "I feel I've done everything right in getting back to fitness. I feel better than before the injury and at that point I was in the starting 11 and close to fulfilling my potential. When I'm 100 per cent fit, I can't accept sitting on the bench.” He added: "I'll just say that I'm 100 per cent good enough for the starting 11 in Arsenal.” Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has so far preferred to go with Moroccan Marouane Chamakh up front. Chamakh has scored eight goals already this season.
