Schweinsteiger close to deciding his future

(13-11-2010) Bayern Munich star Bastian Schweinsteiger is close to making a decision on his future. The German ace, who has previously been linked to Manchester United, is out of contract in June 2012 and has yet to commit to the Bundesliga champions. "My goal is to win the Champions League and I've always said that I can do that at other clubs," Schweinsteiger told German television channel Sport1. If the 26-year-old decides his future lies elsewhere, Bayern will probably look to sell him in order to not risk losing him for free. He added: "Yes, I am leaning towards a decision (about my future). Bayern's footballing skills have developed greatly in the last year, which was nice to see." The German giants lost in the final of last season’s Champions League to Inter Milan.
