Roo determined to prove doubters wrong

(25-11-2010) Wayne Rooney wants to show Manchester United fans that he is totally committed to the club. Many of the faithful have questioned the England ace’s motivation ever since he questioned the club’s ambition and threatened to leave before negotiating a new mega five-year deal. But on Wednesday the 25-year-old vowed to do everything in his power to make the club’s fans love him again. "Not all the fans are going to want to be singing my name all the time or going to want to be cheering me all the time and I fully accept that and understand that. But I have to go out and prove to the fans that I am here to stay and I want to win things at this club,” Rooney told MUTV. "Only I can say how I feel and I know 100 per cent it was nothing to do with money.”
