No panic stations just yet – Ancelotti

(22-11-2010) Carlo Ancelotti refuses to press the panic button despite Chelsea slumping to back-to-back defeats for the first time in 4½ years. On Saturday the Blues lost 1-0 to Birmingham, a week after being walloped 3-0 at home by Sunderland. "I've already said to the players 'don't lose confidence because you played good football'. The result is frustrating but they deserved to win,” commented the Italian after the game at St Andrews. "The team didn't play well against Sunderland and this result is not good but we didn't deserve to lose today.” He added: "We didn't win because we were unlucky and because (goalkeeper) Ben Foster played a good game.” Chelsea still top the EPL standings but now only on goal difference from Manchester United.
