Silva hails ‘King Carlos’

(24-11-2010) David Silva is backing ‘King’ Carlos Tevez to lead Manchester City’s charge for the EPL title. The Spaniard, a £24m summer signing from Valencia, has formed a dangerous three pronged attack with City skipper Tevez and fellow new signing Yaya Toure. Following Sunday’s 4-1 rout of Fulham, the Blues are now just three points off the EPL lead, and Silva believes Tevez is just the man to fire the club to their first trophy in 34 years."Carlos is one of the best I have played with. He's a great striker and I'm excited to play with him,” commented Silva on Tuesday. "It is true that at Fulham we played a good game and are now just three points away from the leaders — we just need to keep trying to win the games."
