Andrey is Gunners' Mr Personality

(10-11-2010) Andrey Arshavin’s personality is one of Arsenal most valuable assets, according to manager Arsene Wenger. Speaking of the little Russian’s influence on his team on Tuesday, Wenger said: "He has personality, Andrey. He is not scared of anybody or anywhere. He is, of course, a player who can make a decision but also a player who gives personality to the team." Wenger said he believed Arshavin had now adapted to the demands of English football. "He understands that to survive in the Premier League, you have to be much more physical." He added that Arshavin reminded him of Thierry Henry in that he had a habit of pulling a rabbit out of the hat when otherwise not playing well. "I had that problem sometimes with Thierry when he had a bad day and all these players that have potential to make a decision," added Wenger.
