Cottagers boss tops Reds list

Fulham boss Roy Hodgson has emerged as the favourite to replace Rafa Benitez at Liverpool. According to a report in the News of the World on Sunday, the 62-year-old has been identified as the man to take over the Anfield hot seat after leading the Cottagers to the Europa League final this season. Hodgson’s work at Fulham over the past two seasons has also seen him transform the west Londoners from perennial relegation candidates into a top 10 team. He is believed to want one more job with a big club before finally retiring from the game. Liverpool will not make their move for a new manager until the end of the season. They are also said to be sounding out Martin O'Neill and Jose Mourinho as potential successors to Benitez.
