Gunners identify Fab replacement

Arsene Wenger has identified the player he wants to bring to the Emirates to replace Cesc Fabregas. The man in question is French World Cup squad member Yoann Gourcuff, who currently plays his football for Bordeaux. The 23-year-old Gourcuff is valued at £22m. Apparently the North Londoners will still make every effort to hang on to Fabregas but are making contingency plans in the event that he does move to Bareclona. "Wenger believes Gourcuff's finesse and grace will fit perfectly to Arsenal's way of playing and will make it an almost seamless transition if Cesc does go,” claims a source close to the club. Gourcuff is expected to be France’s first choice playmaker at the World Cup in South Africa. He joined Bordeaux from Italian giants AC Milan for £14m last summer after a season on loan in France.
