Reds flop vows to fight on
Liverpool flop Alberto Aquilani has promised to make up for his bad debut season at the club. The Italian joined the Reds from Roma last August for £20m but barely featured the whole season as he battled to recover from an ankle injury sustained while still at the Serie A club. Now after just 13 starts he feels he owes the Kop. "I am staying at Liverpool to make up for many things," Aquilani told Italian newspaper Leggo. "I have finally recovered from my ankle injury.” He then added: “Juventus have approached me in the past and now I'm reading of their interest, but I really don't know anything about it."
