Owen back on the run

Manchester United striker Michael Owen is under-going a rigorous training schedule in order to be in top shape next season. The former England striker missed the last six months of last season with a severe hamstring injury. He eventually had surgery to both hamstrings in February. But now he has been spotted at United’s Carrington training facility being put through his paces in a punishing way. Owen scored nine goals for the Red Devils last season, including the opening goal in the Carling Cup final, before tearing his hamstring.
