Barca issue Fab ultimatum

Barcelona have told Cesc Fabregas: it’s now or never! According to reports, the La Liga champions are ready to pay Arsenal £40m for his services but don’t want to let the transfer saga drag on for months on end. Last week Fabregas confirmed that he wants to play for Barcelona "at some stage" fuelling speculation that he was on the verge of joining the club he supported and played for as a boy. The 23-year-old is now under pressure to make a decision on his future before the World Cup. Fabregas is currently recovering from a broken leg in Spain and is renting an apartment on the outskirts of Barcelona that belongs to Chelsea midfielder Deco, himself a former Barca player. Fabregas insists he wants the situation resolved before the World Cup finals begin with all the signs indicating that a move to Spain is imminent.
