Wayne Roo’s United’s seven sins

Despite enjoying a phenomenal season on a personal level, Wayne Rooney has summed up Manchester United’s season and concluded: it was just not good enough! United have lost an unprecedented seven league games this season. They go into their final match of the season against Stoke knowing that only a win and a Chelsea slip against Wigan will see them land a record fourth consecutive EPL title. "If we could have stayed more consistent and not lost so many games we would have won the League but we've lost too many games,” commented Rooney on Wednesday. "We shouldn't be losing seven games at this club." Added the 34-goal hitman: “The FA Cup defeat to Leeds was not good enough. As for the Champions League, we were a bit unlucky considering the way we started against Bayern.” Rooney was recently named PFA Player of the Year.
