United hope for Wigan miracle

Manchester United are living on hope as they enter the last game of the season, says Sir Alex Ferguson. The Red Devils head into their final clash needing to beat Stoke and hope that North West neighbours Wigan pull a rabbit from the hat and beat EPL leaders Chelsea in order to win the title for a fourth consecutive season. Said Fergie on Friday: "All I know is we are in that situation where we hope, that's all we can do - hope. We have confidence Wigan will do their best and try.” He acknowledged that it was pointless getting to worked up about it because it was out of his team’s hands. "If it goes to the last game of the season as it's done five times here - yeah, so what? It's not a problem for us. You don't mind winning anything with the last kick,” added Fergie.
