City set for major Sheikh-up

Manchester City are set to make a major splash in the transfer market this summer as the club seeks to dominate world football. According to reports, the club’s Arab owners will hand manager Roberto Mancini a massive £150m war chest to achieve this. City have not won a trophy since 1976, a situation owner Sheikh Mansour is desperate to turn around. Mancini, who has been in charge at Eastlands since December, believes anything is possible for the club. "We were very strong against all of the big teams this past season. It shows we have a good mentality - and this is important," said Mancini. City just missed out on a place in next season’s Champions League, ending the season in fifth spot.
