‘Title heartache will spur Fergie on’
He may be getting on in years and have 11 EPL winners medals displayed on his mantelpiece, but Sir Alex Ferguson is as determined as ever to reclaim the coveted title. So says United legend Ryan Giggs, a player who has featured in every one of Fergie’s title winning teams. Speaking to the Mirror newspaper, the veteran Welshman said Chelsea’s recent lifting of the title would serve only to heighten his manager’s desire to bring it back to Old Trafford "The challenge for us now is to win the title back," said Giggs. "I'm sure the manager is relishing that challenge even now and can't wait for next season to get goin.” Added Giggs: "The manager is like the players in that he'll go away on holiday and recharge his batteries over the summer. He'll go away, he'll rest and he'll be hungry next season.”
