Rodwell warned against glamour move
David Moyes has warned Everton starlet Jack Rodwell that he might live to regret a move away from Goodison Park. The 19-year-old is in high demand with Manchester United and Chelsea both clambering for his signature. On Thursday Moyes used former Everton midfielder Thomas Gravesen as an example of a player who thought the grass of Real Madrid would be greener but who lived to regret his decision to leave the Toffees. "Some of the players who have left Everton might say it was the right place for them after all," commented Moyes. "At the end of their careers, they might look back and say Everton was the best time - they enjoyed it here. Even Gravesen, who went to Madrid, would say the same thing." United are believed to have made Rodwell one of their priority summer signings and are willingly to pay £20m for his services.
