Gunners to fight for Cesc
Cesc Fabregas’ move to Barcelona is not a done deal, with Arsenal chairman Peter Hill-Wood vowing to fight tooth-and-nail to keep the club’s talismanic midfielder at the Emirates. He also claims that the club are not interested in negotiating a fee with the La Liga giants despite Fabregas revealing that he wants to return to the club he played for and supported as a boy. "The message has been given to them (Barcelona) that we don't want to lose him and will do our damnedest to keep him,” revealed Hill-Wood on Sunday. "We haven't had an official approach from them and have made it perfectly clear we don't want to lose him." The Catalans have already snapped up striker David Villa from Valencia for £34m and have made the 23-year-old Fabregas their other main summer target.
