Milner ready to snub United and Chelsea

In demand Aston Villa star James Milner is prepared to snub Manchester United in favour of their arch rivals Liverpool. The 24-year-old reigning PFA Young Player of the Year is being chased by United, Chelsea and Manchester City. Villa boss Martin O'Neill has slapped a whopping £40m price tag on the player. But according to sources, Milner is ready to turn his back on all three suitors in favour of a move to Merseyside. “Being born in Leeds, there is no way James wants to play for Manchester United,” said a friend of the player. "His preferred Premier League club is Liverpool." O'Neill has been linked with a move to Liverpool which could pave the way for Milner’s dream move.
