Gunners to go Green

Desperate to sort out their goalkeeping problems, Arsenal are ready to move for West Ham’s Robert Green. Gunners manager Arsene Wenger has lost faith with both Manual Almunia and Lukasz Fabianski after the duo made a string of gaffe’s during the season. Green, who is vying with David James and Joe Hart for a place in Fabio Capello's starting XI for the World Cup, is expected to cost around £8m. The 30-year-old recently informed new West Ham owners David Gold and David Sullivan that he was desperate to leave Upton Park. Arsenal have also been linked to Lyon's Hugo Lloris, Bayer Leverkusen's Rene Adler and Manchester City No.2 Joe Hart in recent weeks.
