We’ll take the punishment - Neville
Manchester United have only themselves to blame if they do not land a record fourth consecutive EPL title this season, according to club captain Gary Neville. The Red Devils enter the final day of the season a point behind leaders Chelsea, with both clubs facing relatively easy games against Stoke and Wigan respectively. And the 35-year-old right-back berated the squad for not seizing control of the title race. "I think when you leave it in the hands of others, you've got to take the punishment for it," said Neville. “The mistakes that we've made have been unusual. But then every team will be looking at it the same way. It's been a crazy season and I hope we don't come to regret it come Sunday evening. But if we do then we'll have to learn from that next season."
