Gerrard’s kids threatened with kidnapping

Steven’s Garrard’s children were threatened with kidnapping during a robbery at his luxury home, a court heard on Friday. According to reports, a dangerous thug broke into the house demanding money and jewellery and threatened Gerrard’s wife, former model Alex Curran with a knife. He then said: “If you don’t tell me where the safe is, I’ll take the kids.” Gerrard’s home was targeted while he led his Liverpool side to a 4-0 Champions League win in Marseilles in December 2007. Alex had remained at the family home with their children, Lilly-Ella and Lexie, now aged six and four. Details of the raid emerged for the first time on Friday after the 22-year-old burglar Martin Wilson dramatically changed his plea to guilty. Wilson will be sentenced on May 27.
